☀ Upright — the core message

The sunlight has come in. You deserve the warmth, the laughter and the good of this moment. There were grey days and there were storms, and they have passed. You don't have to keep looking back at seasons that are over. Right now you're standing in the light — open your arms and let it in. Joy needs no reason; your being here is already worth celebrating.

☽ Reversed — a reminder

Do you notice yourself living in memory — the good times before, the people before, the version of you who seemed happier? Nostalgia is tender, and if you take up residence in yesterday, you'll miss the sunlight outside today's window.

In depth

🔮 Tarot symbolism

A naked child rides a white horse through a sunflower garden, laughing, a red banner in hand. The sun has a human face — the bright side of consciousness, warm, generous, shining on everything. The child's nakedness is complete honesty and innocence. The white horse is purified instinct. Four sunflowers turn towards the sun: all four elements lit. The red banner is the flag of vitality. There are no shadows in this card, because the sun is directly overhead. The stone wall is a safe boundary — you can be freely happy inside safety.

🧠 Jungian archetype

The Divine Child appears near the completion of individuation — the innocent core self, uncontaminated by the world. Rubedo is alchemy's final integration, where fire and spirit fuse to produce the philosopher's gold. Honeysuckle people project that golden light onto the past rather than the present — their happy memories are so beautiful that now looks dim by comparison. Jung reminds us that the Divine Child always lives in this moment, never in recollection.

🌸 Flower essence spectrum

When you live in the good times behind you and nothing now seems to match them, Honeysuckle keeps you company as attention comes gently back to the present, and joy that belongs to now can be found.

Working with this card

1

Recognise — you may be…

You may often go through old photos, bring up people and events from before, or live inwardly in a season that has ended. Not because now is bad, but because that memory shines so brightly you can't let go. Your body is here; your heart sometimes goes back.

2

Allow

“I allow myself to put the past in my pocket and live in today's sunlight”

3

Body awareness — notice…

Notice your face and the corners of your mouth — is your smile for now, or for something remembered? Try to feel the temperature of the air against your skin this very second.

🫁 In the moment: a breath practice

Go somewhere with sunlight, close your eyes and feel its warmth on your eyelids. Breathing in, draw the light into your chest; breathing out, let the warmth travel to your fingertips. Five times.

🌸 Scent guidance

Before leaving in the morning, apply MUNI ONE oil at your collarbone so the scent rises slowly with your body heat, reminding you a new day is happening — not a replay of yesterday.

Today's practice

Take three photos of now with your phone today — your breakfast, the light on the street, the expression on someone's face beside you. Look at them tonight, practising letting today become a memory worth keeping too.

🧘 How this awareness works | MUNI × Joy of Living

Awareness is like swapping a recorded song for live playing. However good the recording, it's a sound from the past. Right now there's wind, there are birds, someone is speaking to you — these living sounds deserve the same ears.
